No facebook for a week...I thought about some stuff the other day and I was like, how about you give up everything to see what you cant live without...I have clearly been spending WAY to much time on facebook so I decided to step away from it for a week...I think Im free to say that here because no one reads this blog anyways..hahahhahaha! its like a diary cause nobody really reads it. So no facebook for a week and stuff and stuff....its pretty cool cause now I dont have to worry about, oh I wonder what such and such meant by the status or, oh, I wonder is such and such gonna say something about something about something about something about something about something...ya get it?..yeah... Liberating is what it is my friends...funny story..I was trying to text my bestie Joy Daniels who is taking over the east coast via her music as we speak...last night, I was trying to send her a quote from Pick of Destiny.."you are now our honorary *Parfuckerdymcgoodlestien*" and I accidently sent it to my mama...HA! I called her and was like...ummmm, yeah, your gonna be receiving a text shortly that wasnt meant for you..HA! CLASSIC...she giggled about it ;) she's cool like that...anydoodle..up up and away.

I havent blogged in along time! Well friends, aint shit new..if it was Im sure I would have blogged before now..HA! Album done..CHECK..photo shoot coming up..CHECK..missing home..CHECK CHECK CHECK..I realize that its just 3 hours away but Im missing out on my Boo Boo'z growing up! My first niece that Im not around 24-7 and I have to say that I dont like it AT ALL. she is getting so big!! Everyday something new! Makes me wanna have one..but I also feel like if Celion Deion with her being ON UP IN AGE having a baby that I should be just fine..need to be enjoying the sweet single life...YOU DIG!? oh I dig to the highest of high powers! Anyways..gotta continue to shake the haters off and do my mothafuckin thang..dig it..PEACE.

The Album is DONE!

We went back up to Denton Tuesday and finished off the album...actually Dave and Pow Pow went up to Denton I was already up in Weatherford for fathers day weekend. Dave killed the vocals and I put some Fender Rhodes on a track so the liner notes will read Wendy "Wendo" Simmons on Fender Bass and Fender Rhodes...OHHHHH SNAP! Oh yeah and some background vocals.. I must say that I did NOT want to put keys on it..I've never done such a thing..Im such a fucking pussy when it comes to stuff like that.. I need to cut it the fuck out and start attacking this shit..NO MERCY GOT DAMN ME! Had a gig with my Daves the other day at The Belmont and as always when I come off the stage I feel closer to those 2 knuckle heads..I cant wait until we are on the road and playing music and hanging out with awesome ass musicians and saying, wow, I knew it was gonna be like this..Baby Atlas bitches!!!!!!

man, I cant say it enough how blessed I am to be playing with two of the coldest motha-sucka's in Austin Texas and dare I say the whole damn world! D.C. will keep you locked up in the richest sweetest pockets I've ever dealt with. Playing with DJimz makes it really hard for me from time to time cause I want to listen to his bad-assness so much to the point where I stop playing just to listen..I need to cut that out..HA! Anyways..See you at the Grammys!

Turning over a New Leaf!!

The new leaf is.......MAKE-UP. Im going to start using Maybelline make-up. Its pretty damn close to the Fashion Fair that Im using now. I noticed that the F.F. has a certain amount of red in it that blends great with my skin tone but Maybelline does the damn thang! AND its convenient for me to go to walmart/cvs/walgreens and probably target. I dont have to go to Dillards to pick up the F.F. thats $20+ But it is for black people so I might end up shutting it on up and going back to F.F. We will see...right now, Imma use Maybelline! DIG IT!
