Turning over a New Leaf!!

The new leaf is.......MAKE-UP. Im going to start using Maybelline make-up. Its pretty damn close to the Fashion Fair that Im using now. I noticed that the F.F. has a certain amount of red in it that blends great with my skin tone but Maybelline does the damn thang! AND its convenient for me to go to walmart/cvs/walgreens and probably target. I dont have to go to Dillards to pick up the F.F. thats $20+ But it is for black people so I might end up shutting it on up and going back to F.F. We will see...right now, Imma use Maybelline! DIG IT!

I havent posted anything since Erykah Badu info and Im still floored by the album! BAM! What to saaaay what to saaaaaaay! I really have nothing to say...and that says alot for me! Oh..I must have a damn sign on my head that says...MARRIED MEN COME MESS WITH ME. I should run away and concentrate on my music..thats what I should do! Im sitting up here watching TCM. I LOVE LOVE LOVE old movies! This movie just went off about this chick that moved away to take care of her "play cousins" daughter, the husband feel in love with her and killed his wife to be with her...they were married, he was an ass, she lost her baby which drove him more insane and he went trying to shoot up the town and they came for him and the towns people shot his dumb ass cause he was parading around with a gun...GOOD FLICK! a young Jessica Tandy and Colonel Potter from Mash! I think I might leave it on this channel..GOOD TIMES AHEAD!

MAN! This album is so nasty!!! She is so damn superfantastic! Its so musical! I dont know what else to say about it! Im so lame for not going into detail cause Im still just FLOORED on how good this ish is!!! WOW. WOW. WOW. WOW.

Well, South By is Bye Bye! So things can get back to semi-normal? I mean, it is Austin Texas and since the going thing now a days is Keeping Austin Weird I guess that is warranted by semi-normality. RANDOM: The Chipmunks new movie just came on tv via commercial and they were doing Put a Ring On It....wow...Beyonce is just to ALL over the place...she is to cold right now...TEXAN. Thats why, I mean, us Texans are destine for greatness...Baby Atlas? Only a matter of time...See you at the Grammys baby!...HA! Okay, today is operation clean up clean up everybody everywhere so that is what is about to go down...gonna plug up the Fender amp and do some shedding today..BOOMBAAAAAAM! Ya dig? I know you do..anyways, IM OUT. I have a crush on someone but its "complicated"....HAHAHAHHA! PEACE...oh yeah, check out the chucks!

Listening and Learning

Today will be a day filled with listening and learning...tunes..plenty of tunes to be listening to. One of my teachers told me that in order to shed your instrument you have to listen to music..LISTEN to music...so thats what Im doing, Im listening! I wonder how many times I can type listen whilst typing this blog? Im not sure...I was gonna meet up with Adam thursday but I think its a bad idea cause we wanted to frequent a couple of music shops to check out basses and I forgot that South By is this week...I think its a BAD BAD idea..Now is the time of the year when everybody and their mama floods Austin Texas to LISTEN to music, every band good or bad will be playing in the city..more bad then good with the exception of every band I know down here but I tell you what? Baby Atlas wants to play Eric Clapton's Crossroad Music Festival..NOT South By South Wack..YA DIG? HELL YA YOU DIG! So take that shit to the bank and deposit it and dont come back until you have enough scratch to withdraw biznitch!

Willie!

What to say what to say...oh yeah...I GOT A NEW BASS! He is beautiful. His name is Willie, named after 3 Willies in my life that I love..My Papa, my Mama and Willie Weeks! YES! He is oh so wise and wonderful and crunk and he sounds O-Mazing! Thank God for Jesus! He is a great new addition to Baby Atlas ya dig?...what is Baby Atlas you ask...oh thats just the name of the most kick ass band you have ever come across...yeah..thats right..you heard fucking right from the fucking horses TOOTH! Anyways...yeah, Imma go play with him now...well, Imma finish listening to Chopin played by Vladamir Ashkenazy...beautiful..breath taken...*sigh*

Wheeeeeeew, I slept all the daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay....LONG! And it was awesome...very awesome..you know whats going to be even more awesome? When I tuck myself BACK in and go BACK to sleep...I figured I would hit this bass up for a lil bit and turn my shed light on and get down on it! I didnt really wanna say much of anything but I figured I would just say a lil something to keep this wagon train a moving. Season 3 of Dexter is down and it seems like it was left of a pretty good note..better then season 2. Cant wait to see season 4..gotta see who Dexter is murdering and see the new addition..Oscar night..to watch or not to watch...if Im just laying in the bed, might as well crank it up...HA! PEACE.
